This new rotary calendar by Toronto-based graphic designer and lettering artist Chris Rouleau is simple in function yet so clever and eyecatching. Measuring 9.5″ x 11″, the calendar is designed to be perpetual in that it can be used all year, every year — there’s no specific start or end date to worry about.

Video! I've always been fascinated with the idea of time-keeping, and the efficiency of non-disposable, perpetual calendars. Alongside my ongoing side project of collecting of vintage calendars – those that flip, click, and slide to give the date – I have had a secret mission to create the "perfect" modern perpetual calendar. I've tried a few times to varying degrees of success. After dozens of prototypes over the last year, I'm thrilled to share the final result. This rotary calendar works all year round, every year, ever. Perfect for home, school or office. Produced in Toronto by the amazing folks at @italicpress. The four tiers are printed on 34pt matte Convertible Solutions Multiloft on the @HP Indigo Digital Press, and meticulously diecut on the Zund digital diecutter. The calendar is then hand-assembled and bound with a metal rivet by yours truly. Measures 9.5” x 11”. Limited quantities available for purchase in my shop (link via my profile).
