As announced and demoed at Apple’s iPad event last week, Pixelmator now has an iPad app. I’ve been a big fan of it on the Mac for a few years. When I heard about the iPad version, I expected it to be $19.99 or more, but it’s available for only $4.99.

It includes iOS 8 features (Extensions, iCloud Drive, Document Picker, and Handoff), great retouching tools, templates, ability to import/export Photoshop documents, and a lot more. Pixelmator recommends an iPad 4 or newer, but it will work with all iPads except the original. MacStories has a nice overview as well.
