Hugo Boss “Bottled” Fragrance Collection for Men
I tend to be a bit picky when it comes to fragrances. If I’m going to try smelling good, I don’t want to slap on the same old Acqua di Gio that every dude has owned a bottle of at some point or another.
However, that doesn’t mean I shy away from all the classics. The “Bottled” line by Hugo Boss has been a popular choice among men for decades now, and it’s still a lineup you can count on to make a positive impression with others as you go about your life.
There are several notable variants/flankers that each have their own nuances:
- Hugo Boss Bottled: The original fragrance, a versatile and sensual classic known for its spicy-floral blend of apple, cinnamon, and woody notes.
- Hugo Boss Bottled Night: A nighttime version with a focus on woody and aromatic elements like lavender and violet. Suitable for evening wear.
- Hugo Boss Bottled Parfum: A relatively newer entry (from 2022) that comes across as sophisticated and charismatic thanks to its dark woody amber notes. Has quickly become a fan favorite, potentially topping the original scent for some users.
- Hugo Boss Bottled Infinite: This fresh and energetic is more of a casual/sporty daytime fragrance, with citrusy top notes that dry down into a more earthy/woodsy profile.
- Hugo Boss Bottled Tonic: A lighter, cleaner rendition that opens with more citrusy notes before settling into what I would call a toned-down version of the origial scent. Great for summer wear.
- Hugo Boss Bottled Elixir Parfum: On the flip side of the Tonic is the Elixir Parfum, which I believe is the latest release of the bunch? In any case, this one is a deeper, more complex flanker that almost overpowers in its intensity. This one hits you out of the gate with strong notes of amber, incense, and cardamom. A little goes a looong way here; one spray too many will be cloying.
Any one of these could become your next go-to fragrance, although my personal vote goes to the Bottled Parfum.
