We consider the Espro Press to be the best french press pot you can get. Its double-walled steel vessel keeps your coffee hot for over an hour. And the double micro filter keeps grit out. It’s unlike any french press filter I’ve ever seen and it works wonderfully.

The folks at Espro are Kickstarting a new size of their french press: an 18-ounce pot that sits in between their original 8-ounce press and the 40-ounce press that I have. While there’s no reason you can’t just brew 18 ounces of coffee using your 40-ounce press pot (I do it all the time), the Medium Espro Press is cheaper by $20 and smaller in case you’re tight on cupboard space.
