Bad astronomy puns incoming in t-minus 3…2…1…

With the “Planet Plates” dinner plate set orbiting around the dinner table, your fellow food voyagers will always gravitat– okay, okay, I’ll stop now. The point is, this is a pretty cool set of 10″ plates designed to look like the eight planets of our solar system. (Saturn is my favorite.)

They’re made from melamine, which has the bonus of being virtually unbreakable, but the downside of not being microwave-safe. It’s also better if you gently handwash them rather than putting them through a dishwasher. If you can deal with those things, this is a fun set of dinnerware to own.
